Eastbourne Triathlon & Multisport Festival is one of the most well established and highly respected triathlon events in the country. Our middle-distance race features a sea swim against the backdrop of Eastbourne’s historic pier, a multi-lap bike course on fully closed roads over the iconic Beachy Head Road, and a fast, flat run on the seafront promenade, culminating in an unforgettable blue carpet finish line experience. It’s a course that offers both challenge and reward, all set in a stunning location.

A relay option is also available for teams of three (one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner).
Cut-off Times
The Swim begins at 6am and you have 90 minutes to complete the swim. For the swim and the bike combined you have 5 hours 45 minutes (until 11:45am). However, please note that although the road closure is removed at 11:45am you will be able to continue on open roads iprovided you have started you last lap of the bike course. You have 9 hours in total to finish the race which is 3pm.
The 1.9km swim route will consist of 2 laps.
The 90km bike route will consist of an initial short lap of 10km and then 4 laps of 20km. This provides a great experience for spectators.
The 21.1km run route will consist of 4 laps of 5.3km on Eastbourne's historic seafront promenade.
